Laureate Foundation emerged from the shared vision of a group of young citizens who felt that talent, potential, and leadership among youth were often overlooked—not because of a lack of ability, but due to the absence of inclusive platforms that recognize and nurture their voices. Determined to change this, they came together to create a space where learning, leadership, and social responsibility intersect.

Our Philosophy

The Laureate Foundation is a premier youth organization committed to fostering a peaceful society that upholds gender equality and human rights. Established in 2008 by a group of young activists, our core work focuses on enhancing the contribution of youth in development processes and the socio-economic empowerment of marginalized groups, including young women, peasants, and minorities. We are deeply committed to redefining the role of youth in leadership and governance and actively mainstreaming the youth agenda. A key part of this is bringing back the spirit of cause-based volunteering by organizing targeted capacity building and developing strong Volunteer Management Systems, ensuring youth engagement leads to sustainable, meaningful outcomes rather than just activity.
